Genesco provides basic life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost to you, that will pay your beneficiaries 1x your annual earnings up to $500k.

Employee & Spouse Supplemental Life
Choose up to a maximum benefit amount of $500k.
Evidence of Insurability (EOI) must be completed and is subject to approval by MetLife. Rates are based on your age and will change at different age intervals. A spouse cannot have a higher coverage level than the employee.
Monthly Costs* for Supplemental Term Life Insurance
You have the option to purchase Supplemental Term Life Insurance. Listed below are your monthly rates (based on your age as of your last birthday) as well as those for your spouse/domestic partner (based on your age as of your last birthday). Rates to cover your children are also shown.

Child(ren) Supplemental Life
Choose up to a maximum benefit amount of $10k.
Eligible up to age 26. The plan pays $2,000, $5,000, or $10,000, depending on the level of coverage selected. One cost for all covered children.
Voluntary AD&D
Buy-up up between $10k and $500k coverage.
Accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance can help you pay expenses if you or your spouse is seriously injured or killed in a covered accident. You may purchase additional coverage from $10,000 – $500,000 of coverage. Family coverage is also available.
Enrolling After Your New Hire Period
If you are enrolling for this benefit for the first time and you are outside of your new hire initial enrollment window, you must complete an Evidence of Insurability form and submit it for approval.
