Long-term disability benefits are also available. Eligible employees who become totally disabled for an extended period of time due to sickness or injury can receive 66.7% of monthly earnings up to a maximum of $5,000.
Enrolled participants who become totally disabled for an extended period of time due to sickness or injury can receive 66.67% of their monthly base salary, up to a maximum of $5,000 in monthly benefit. This benefit amount will be offset by any other disability benefits (such as Canadian Pension disability benefits). Benefits can continue until age 65. This is company provided and no cost to you.
